This month, the KONFU team came together to celebrate the Lantern Festival, a vibrant event that marks the conclusion of the Lunar New Year holidays. The tradition of lighting lanterns is believed to have originated with Emperor Hanmingdi, a proponent of Buddhism, who observed monks lighting lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the first lunar month.

Today, the festival is a spectacle of light and joy. Streets are adorned with lanterns of various shapes and sizes, and children carry their own lanterns while strolling through the festive atmosphere. A popular and engaging tradition is solving 'lantern riddles,' where riddles are written on paper slips attached to the lanterns. Those who solve them correctly are rewarded with a prize.
